Financing explained step by step
Shopping for mortgages can be time consuming and frustrating if you do it yourself. That’s why more and more Canadians are relying on mortgage brokers.
I shop several lenders in the time it takes you to book an appointment at your bank. While you may not enjoy negotiating with financial institutions,I really do.
Most of the lenders I deal with are the same reputable, established Canadian financial institutions you’re used to. To that list, I also add some innovative broker-only lenders who offer even more attractive rates and features and still provide all the peace-of-mind features you require with a mortgage – like CMHC or GE insurance.
Even though I work for you (not the financial institution), I get paid by the financial institution, ( not you!).
And since the “finders fees” are similar across the lenders, there is no incentive for me to favour one lender over another.
Obtaining mortgage step by step:
- I analyze your financial situation and goals
- I shop several lenders, with one application, not to effect your credit report, for the mortgages that best meet your needs
- I present you with approvals from one or more lenders,
- review the Approval of your choice, explain each paragraph and answer any questions you may have. Once you and I agree on the final choice, I place your mortgage with that particular lender
- I make sure that all conditions of approval are satisfied, your lawyer is instructed by the bank on time and processing is completed fast and accurately
- Only after all the details are taken care of and your mortgage is complete do I receive my “finders fee” from the lender
- So all you have to think about is enjoying an affordable new mortgage in your exciting new home!
